On MaY 17

Here goes. For you guys out there anywhere who are clueless about this date [obviously];
well it is coming soon and that's not it. [Why am I always running all over the place or beating around the bush?]

I have been called for National Service.
I postponed it for my studies and now that I have finished and am rotting every day away in front of this Wonder screen, they have sniffed out my laziness stink and tracked me down to pull me back in.
Actually, my mum re-applied it for me.

Not that it is a bad thing at all! Not everyone gets this chance. Only certain people get selected so I am proud to be given this chance. There is also fear and anticipation mixed in with dread yet excitement [somebody should give this mix of feelings a term!] in attending this three-month camp because... well, I'm not going to come here and just tarnish their name on my blog. God knows what they would do to me once I am there.

So, if you have been reading between the lines... I am not going to be blogging for three months. Not that it would hurt any one of you because I'm not so sure who's been following and reading either [You guys been pretty quiet]. Well, just a piece of information for you, then. Do not be sad; I will be back.

I have a feeling I would have more to write about once I come back. SO it is a good thing :) I will also have more friends and valuable experiences... yadayadayada...

Take care. All of you. I love you so much. Thank you for going through this life with me.
Even if it's only through a superficial, virtual blog. It still means a lot to me.
And also thank you for sharing your life with me. :)

I hope wherever it is I am going,
it would be a mythical place full of
fun and adventure.
[I seriously doubt this]

Lavania, this is a note to remind thyself:
Colour and curl your hair after you get back. A job would be great too. Time for some extra cash. I will miss Secret Recipe, my family, my boyfriend, my cat, Internet access and Attai's tea.

"I just embrace all people of all lifestyles and I don’t tell them they are bad people. And I say girls are beautiful and girls are sexy and they need to be told that, and if they don’t have anyone to tell them that and mean it, I’m gonna tell them that. But I feel like people always wanna define me and I don’t wanna be defined."

"Do not apologize for your weaknesses-just for the mistakes your weaknesses caused."

People are frequently using this term "I'm born the way I am" or "God made me this way and He makes no mistake".
Just listen to Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' and you will get it.

So what I really want to know is this:

Is it okay to justify what we are by saying that this is how we were created and that there is no real line between what is right and wrong?

I guess what I'm really puzzled by is the fact that we trust God who is perfect to be able to lead us into the perfect image of Him. That means we are not to judge/criticize/put down people who were lovingly and wonderfully and fearfully made by Him. He tells us what is right and wrong but is it good for us to go against bad people? Aren't all sins the same?

And He the Almighty who can love the gays and the weirdos and the cult followers etc., does He expects us to do the same?
He did not make any mistakes creating them. So is it right for them to be who they are?

Do we show them love and accept them as a part of us because God did that?

The world is crying out this same cry: It is MY right to be who I AM because this is who God made ME to be.
They want the rights to be, do, and say anything. And they should and could and would. Cause we have the same rights. To be what God wants us to be.
If God said it was wrong for Lady Gaga to be who she is and do what she does, then how is it fair and how is it does she have the same rights as us? And if God gave her the same rights to be herself, how can He propose what is right and wrong? That is in itself taking away her rights already.

Is it because the world wants to live in such a way that what they think is right and the rest are self-denial and putting the blame on God?

(The Devil feeding us lies again?)

Is there such thing as different religious practices but belief in the same God? As in Muslims, Hindu and Buddhists gods are the same as Jehovah-just pictured differently?
Cause I've been getting that a lot too.
And I'm not sure of believing anything for the moment.

This is my kitty. Somee.
Actually, she belongs to all of us.
I got her name from a character of a little girl in a Korean movie that my dad downloaded.

She grows bigger all the time. Until she is no longer a kitten.
But she still acts like one.

Tuna from a packet used to be her ultimate favorite until she got introduced to real fish and then chicken.
When she is hungry, she will rub against any standing legs.
She currently needs about three whole fish to be full.

She is curious and restless. She has also recently found new love with the outdoors.
And I mean it because there's a big fat ginger stray she brought in the other day.
Uncle was not too happy with her choice :)

Typical pussy but we love you all the same.
Be our kitty always.
